The Baruch College Fund’s Scholarship Support

William Harnisch

William Harnisch, an established investor, holds an MBA from New York University in addition to a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Currently, William Harnisch applies his expertise as the chief investment strategist at Peconic Partners in New York, which he founded, and is a board member of the Baruch College Fund.

Created in 1969, the Baruch College Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that advances the quality of education provided to students at the school. Baruch College operates as part of the City University of New York. Since its inception, the Baruch fund has contributed financially to support faculty and academics, student experience enhancement, and scholarships.
Currently, the Baruch College Fund supports 185 scholarships at the school that have helped alleviate the cost of higher education for hundreds of students in need. Baruch scholarships average close to $3,000. Some 40 percent of the school’s students are from families that earn less than $25,000 a year.
